Tribe Tops Halos 6-2 Leads Detroit By Six

Okay, this is getting strange! I move out of Cleveland, and the Cavaliers make the NBA Finals for the first time in their history, and now the Cleveland Indians look like they are going to make the MLB Playoffs for the first time since 2001! Could I have been the curse of Cleveland? {Actually I only moved there in 1992, they had 28 years of heart ache before I arrived. And the Indians didn't make the Post Season until my first year covering the team which was 1995. So if I take the blame, I would have to take the credit also. I have a big ego but not that big!} Cleveland saw their lead grow to six games over second place Detroit in the A.L. Central as they beat the L.A. Angels Sunday 6-2. Indians rookie starter Aaron Laffey saw his season mark improve to 3-1 as he went five innings against the Angels allowing 2 runs on six hits. Los Angeles starter Jarrod Weaver took the loss he also went five but allowed six runs on nine hits. His record now is 11-7.

i'm an NL guy but i have to say, the Tribe is playing some good baseball lately. I'd rather see them in the WS than those damn yankees or red sox.
always pull for the underdog.
